While they are safe to use in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical plants and have no toxic substances, they should only be used on machinery and equipment that is separate from the processing operation with no possibility of food contact. H2-rated lubricants are often used on pumps, air compressors, facility door hinges, or forklifts.
